この作品は、2020年に大流行した新型コロナウィルスをテーマにしております。混沌とした世界の中で私達はどう生き、後世に何を伝えるのか・・・【ALIVE】という強いメッセージを音楽に込めました。



2022年4月10日「トロンボーンアンサンブル JYOSHIKAI 10周年記念コンサート」にて、8本のトロンボーンを伴奏に、バストロンボーン奏者の石川浩氏（東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団）の独奏で初演されました。



その後、この作品に込められた願いを沢山の方に届けたい、そして演奏して欲しいという想いを込めて、トロンボーンアンサンブル伴奏版に加えて、テナートロンボーン、バストロンボーン其々のソロの為の、ピアノリダクション版を作成しました。



1楽章〈Chaos〉

2020年「世界中で何かおかしな事が起きている」・・・生きてきた中で、これほど未来が不透明になった年はありませんでした。

自分は何をする？ 何ができる？ 何がしたい？

誰を守る？ 何が正しい？ 大切なことって何・・・？

混乱と恐怖、そして自問に明け暮れた世界を音楽にしました。



2楽章〈Requiem〉

とてつもなく大きな荒波の中、正解がわからず彷徨い、そしてその先にいる無力な自分に苦しみ嘆いた人は幾人いるでしょうか？

荒波の先の沈黙と絶望の中、新型コロナウィルスの終息を願い、故人の安らかな眠りを祈り、そして未来の灯を求め再び歩き出す・・・鎮魂の心と、力強く一歩を踏み出す強さを音楽にしました。



3楽章〈ALIVE〉

「大切な人に会いたい」これが簡単ではなくなり、改めて人の温もりの尊さを感じました。

〈祈り・希望・信念・勇気・再生〉、生きるため、生き抜くためにもがく人間は強く、逞しいです。 逆境があっても、苦しくても、何度でも、生き抜く。

新しい世界、思い切り笑い合える世界で・・・。

[ALIVE for Bass Trombone and Piano]

This work was inspired by the novel coronavirus and the subsequent epidemic. This piece tries to answer the question， “How can we live in this chaotic world， and what should we pass on to future generations?”



This work was premiered on April 10th， 2022 at the “Trombone Ensemble JYOSHIKAI 10th Anniversary Concert” with bass trombonist Hiroshi Ishikawa (Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra) as a soloist， accompanied by eight trombones.



After that performance， tenor and bass trombone solos versions with a piano reduction were also arranged. The goal is to deliver the wishes contained in this work to as many people as possible and let them easily perform it.



1st Movement 〈Chaos〉

2020 “Something strange is happening all over the world”・・・ Never in my life has the future been so uncertain.

what do i do? what can i do? what do you want to do? who do you protect? what is right? what is important?

This movement is about a world of confusion， fear， and self-doubt.



2nd Movement 〈Requiem〉

How many people are there who have wandered in the midst of a tremendously large stormy sea without knowing the correct answer， and who have suffered and lamented their helpless self?

Amidst the silence and despair beyond the stormy seas， we wish for an end to the novel coronavirus， pray for a restful sleep for the deceased， and start walking again in search of the light of the future.



3rd Movement 〈ALIVE〉

“I want to see those close to me.” This is no longer easy， and I once again feel the preciousness of human warmth.

〈Prayer， Hope， Faith， Courage， Rebirth〉The people who have struggled to live and survive are strong and resilient. Even if there is adversity， even if it is painful， we will continue to survive in this new world， and make a world where we can laugh together again.
